Obesity Epidemic

As you probably know (and have heard in school health classes), America is the country with the highest obese population. Obesity is a serious health issue that can cause a range of illnesses, including:

According to the Surgeon General of the United States, the number of overweight children has doubled and the number of overweight adolescents has tripled in the U.S. since 1980.

How did we become the country with the largest obesity rate per capita and some of the largest healthcare costs per person? A major reason is what we eat!
